Woman, 19, dies in Cork crash
Gardaí are investigating a two-car collision in Co Cork last night in which a 19-year-old woman died.
The crash happened on the Fota Road near Cobh shortly after 9pm.
The woman's body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place later this morning.
The male driver of the other car was not injured.
The road remains closed this morning pending a technical examination and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Cobh Garda Station on 021-4908530.
The woman is the fourth to have died on Cork's roads in the past week.
