Waterford factory staff prepare for strike
21/01/2007 - 12:27:00Staff at a factory in Waterford are preparing to strike later today, in a dispute over the suspension of one employee.
Bausch & Lomb served protective notice on all of its 1,500 employees, after union members threatened industrial action on Friday.
The TEEU trade union said the strike will go ahead, unless the company agrees to negotiate and allow the employee in question to return to work.
