Warning over bogus callers in Dublin

Gardaí are warning people to be on the look-out for bogus callers in the general Dublin area.

There has been a number of incidents recently where elderly people have had property stolen from their houses by people pretending to work for a local authority.

The suspects are described as aged between 21 and 26, and being well-spoken with Dublin accents.

People are being reminded to always ask callers for photo ID.
