Vodafone suspends two staff after abusive image goes viral
Vodafone has confirmed that it has suspended two staff after an abusive image posted on a social media site this morning went viral.
The image purports to involve Vodafone staff discussing a customer at the counter, using vulgar and abusive language to describe her.
A photograph which has made its way onto Twitter captures the conversation on a screen.
A Vodafone spokesperson said an investigation is underway, and sought to reassure customers that the company has a zero-tolerance approach to staff who breach its code of conduct.
