Vodafone Ireland is expanding its workforce with the creation of 113 new jobs.

Vodafone Ireland is expanding its workforce with the creation of 113 new jobs.

The positions will come on stream in the next year across its business, with 57 new permanent posts, five graduate recruits and 51 contract roles.

The company is recruiting for positions in customer service, technology and networks, HR, finance and sales and marketing.

Vodafone currently employs 1,100 people in Ireland.

The CEO of Vodafone Ireland Anne O’Leary says the company is recruiting to meet increasing customer demand.

"Recruitment is starting immediately," she said. "The jobs will involve people across - technology, networks, customer service, marketing and sales."

She said the expansion is being driven by increasing demand for mobile and data services.
