Vivas to cut health insurance premiums for children

27/06/2006 - 13:02:51
The health insurance firm Vivas has announced plans to cut its premiums for children by 50% from the end of next month.

The move comes just days after the VHI said it would be seeking to increase its premiums by 12.5% following major losses last year.

Vivas claims its decision to reduce prices means that a family switching over from the VHI can now save up to €500 on its annual health insurance costs.
