Vita Cortex workers mark 50th night of protest

Former staff of the Vita Cortex foam packaging company in Cork have spent their 50th night occupying the factory in a row over redundancy payments.
The group of 30 has been told that they will receive their statutory redundancy payments next week.
However, they plan on continuing their protest until they get an ex-gracia payment which they say is owed to them by their former employers.
The Vita Cortex workers hope to meet the Taoiseach during his visit to Cork today.
