Vita Cortex staff hopeful of resolution to dispute
Workers at Vita Cortex have said they are hopeful of a resolution to their redundancy issue by the end of the coming week.
Staff last night met with the Taoiseach Enda Kenny over the problem which has seen a sit in protest now enter its 51st day.
Mr Kenny said he would discuss the issue with Jobs Minister Richard Bruton, but the group is continuing their protest as they claim the company's owner isn't fulfilling his promises over redundancies.
