Vita Cortex management 'unable to accept mediator guidance'

Vita Cortex management has today stated that it does not accept the solution suggested by mediators.
The company has said that the guidance is inconsistent, claiming that it does not treat all staff equally.
Vita Cotex also repeated that the outcome of the mediation process "ignores the company’s confirmed inability to pay redundancy".
"The board and management of Vita Cortex regret to announce that it is unable to accept the guidance provided by the mediators last Friday following the failure of the mediation process," said a company statement.
"The conclusion of the management finds that the guidance suggested by the mediators do not provide a solid basis for a resolution to the dispute.
"Although exiting the mediation process last Thursday week which brought the mediation process to an end, the company agreed in good faith to review guidance provided by the mediators which might provide a basis for agreement even though this was issued was after the collapse of the mediation talks and therefore given outside the process.
"We would like to thank the mediators for their time and professionalism, the LRC for facilitating the process and the workers for committing to the process.
"At this moment in time it is the assertion of the management that the company it has discharged its duties and obligations as required by all relevant authorities."
