Visitors banned from Louth hospital due to vomiting bug

Visitors have been banned from a hospital in County Louth because of an outbreak of the Winter Vomiting bug.

The Health Service Executive announced this afternoon that only relatives visiting critically ill patients would be allowed entry to the Louth County Hospital in Dundalk.

Relatives with concerns are being asked to contact Nursing Administration at the hospital or contact the relevant ward before visiting.
