Verdict due in trial of man accused of raping two friends
25/10/2012 - 08:03:59A verdict is due in the trial of a man accused of raping two friends at his Dublin home after giving them an anti-depressant to relax them.
The 34-year-old has pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to the charges which date to July 2 last year.
There was evidence the women met him outside a nightclub at 3am and went back to his place on the understanding he had ecstasy there.
The jury of six men and six women have already spent almost three hours considering a verdict.
