U2 to remember victims of Dublin Monaghan bombings

The victims of the Dublin Monaghan bombings will be remembered at U2's concert tonight.

As they've done throughout their tour, U2 will raise the issue in their song Raised by Wolves.

The band has taken up the campaign of the Justice for the Forgotten group, who want the British Government to release documents connected with the deaths of 34 people, including a full-term unborn child.

The families will be present for the song at tonight's concert in the Three Arena.

Spokesperson Margaret Urwin said they are heartened by the support of U2.

She said: "To have a band the calibre of U2 supporting our cause is a wonderful boost to our campaign, and our efforts to get the material that was never disclosed by the British Government.

"We think it is putting a great focus on the Dublin Monaghan bombings in a way that hasn't happened up to now."
