Two more arrests in Dublin murder probe

Gardaí have arrested a further two people in relation to the murder of a father of three in Dublin's south inner city earlier this week.

It brings to six the total number of people being questioned in connection with the fatal shooting of John Carroll.

He was shot a number of times in Grumpy Jack's pub in the Coombe on Wednesday night.

A man and a woman - both in their mid 20s - are being questioned at Crumlin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Last night gardaí arrested a woman in her 30s at her home, and three men in their 20s at Dublin Port.

They are being questioned at various garda stations across Dublin city.
