Two killed in overnight accidents
05/03/2005 - 08:29:18A man has died in a road accident in Co Meath.
The accident happened in Castlemartin, on the Kells to Navan road, shortly after 10pm last night.
The dead man has not yet been identified by gardaí.
Meanwhile, a young man has been killed and several others injured in a road accident in Galway.
The two car head-on collision happened on the N18 at Glenbrack, outside Gort Town last night.
The driver of one car was pronounced dead at the scene - his body was removed to University College Hospital Galway.
Some of the injured in the crash were also brought to hospital for treatment - the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
