Two due in court as Garda recovers in hospital from being hit by stolen car
A man and a woman in their 20s are due in court this morning, charged in relation to an incident in Dublin in which a Garda was seriously injured.
He suffered hip and leg injuries after he was hit by a stolen car at around 11pm on Saturday night in Balbriggan.
He is being treated at Beaumont Hospital.
Two other gardaí received minor injuries and two garda vehicles were also damaged.
The man and woman were arrested close to Balbriggan and face charges of burglary and car theft at Dublin District Court today.
