Two men will appear in court this evening charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Co Limerick.

Two men will appear in court this evening charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Co Limerick.

The 31-year-old victim was stabbed to death on Thursday night at a house in the Grove area of Pallasgreen after he reportedly tried to intervene in an attack on a woman.

The 34-year-old woman also received stab wounds during the incident.

The two men - aged 20 and 32 - were arrested at the scene.

They are due to appear before Limerick District Court at around 6pm this evening.
