Two charged over botched robbery

Two men have been charged over the botched robbery of a jewellery shop in Dublin.
The men, one in his 20s and the other in his 40s, entered the shop on Dawson Street armed with a gun just before lunchtime on Friday.
They were arrested after a confrontation with staff and members of the public, and are due before Dublin District Court tomorrow morning.
A third man was hospitalised after the incident and is still being treated at St James' Hospital.
