Two charged after stolen Eircom van chase through Dublin

A teenager has appeared in court charged in connection with a driving rampage through Dublin city last night.
Stephen Kelly of Windmill Park, Crumlin was arrested after a stolen van crashed into a number of cars in Ranelagh.
The drama began to unfold at around 10pm last night when an Eircom van was stolen from George's Street South.
Gardaí said there were two men and two women in the van and it was driven at high speed through the city.
The van crashed into a number of cars before coming to a stop at Ranelagh village.

A total of five cars, two parked and three moving, were hit and two of the drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
All four were arrested at the scene and Stephen Kelly appeared in court this afternoon where he was charged with being a passenger in a stolen vehicle.
The 19-year-old was granted bail under strict conditions.
A teenage girl was released in the early hours of this morning, while an 18-year-old woman was charged and is due to appear in court at a later date.
The other male suspect remains in Garda custody this afternoon.
