Gardaí have arrested two men in Dublin following an investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs, it has emerged today.

Gardaí have arrested two men in Dublin following an investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs, it has emerged today.

Gardaí from the local drug unit, assisted by the Crime Task Force, searched a house in the Castleknock area yesterday afternoon.

There they found two shotguns and a small quantity of cannabis herb and cocaine.

The men aged 24 and 26 were arrested at the scene.

They are currently being questioned at Blanchardstown garda station under Section 30 Offences against the State Act.
