TUI urge students not to lose heart if CAO doesn't go to plan

Leaving Cert students awaiting tomorrow's first round of CAO offers are being urged not to lose heart if they are not offered their first choice.
The Teachers Union of Ireland is reminding students that they may be offered their chosen course in later rounds.
And they are also advising students to avoid accepting courses they're not genuinely interested in.
TUI President Gerard Craughwell says there are options for those who don't get offered a course they want. "If you're not getting what you expected from the traditional third level colleges, start looking at the further education colleges.
"Go back to your school and talk to your career councillor and see what advice they can offer and then talk to the further education colleges in your area."
