Trust leader Charles Allen is expected to spend a second night in custody as it now looks unlikely that his High Court hearing can be arranged for today.
Mr Allen was arrested at Lotamore House, Tivoli Road, in Cork yesterday after spending two months running from a bench warrant.
He had been expected to appear this morning to respond to the High Court's decision to hold him in contempt, but organisational issues have forced a delay.
It is understood that will be heard tomorrow morning instead and he is expected to remain in custody.
A bench warrant was issued for Mr Allen's arrest on September 27 after he failed to respond to a summons.
This was linked to allegations that he trespassed at a studfarm in Kildare when he led a colourful protest that temporarily ousted the receivers.
