Travel chaos in Dublin as Dublin Bus strike again

Thousands of commuters across the capital are again facing travel chaos this morning.

Drivers at Dublin Bus are carrying out another 48 hour work stoppage which is affecting over 400 thousand passengers.

A further 13 strike days are scheduled to take place this month and next.

The five Trade Unions representing workers at Dublin Bus are to march on Leinster House next week as part of their ongoing dispute over pay.

SIPTU organiser John Murphy says all parties involved need to have meaningful talks:"I think the time has come for discussions with all the relevant parties with the people who can resolve this with the hope of avoiding any more disruption to the travelling public because they are our customers we don't want to do that.

"But we are being left with no other alternative when nobody will talk to us."
