A toddler has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital after a farm accident in West Cork earlier.
It is understood the two year old suffered serious injuries when it was struck by a shed door on a farm in the Goleen area around lunchtime.
Coast guard units from Goleen and the Irish coast guard helicopter from Shannon were tasked to the scene.
The child was airlifted from a landing site in Toormore to Bishopstown GAA in the city before transfer by ambulance to nearby CUH at around 2.45pm.
