An investigation is underway after a 30-year-old Tipperary man was found dead in Argentina from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

An investigation is underway after a 30-year-old Tipperary man was found dead in Argentina from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

The man, named locally as Christopher Morris, son of well-known horse trainer Michael Morris, was found dead along with his flatmate at an apartment in the Mendoza region on Monday.

His body was found in an apartment in the Mendoza region, along with the remains of his flatmate.

The Department of Foreign Affairs says it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance to the Irishman's family.
