An Irishman has been found dead in Argentina.

An Irishman has been found dead in Argentina.

The 30-year-old man is believed to be from Co Tipperary.

His body was found in an apartment in the Mendoza region, along with the remains of his flatmate.

It is understood authorities are investigating whether the deaths may have been caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.

The Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed that they are aware of the incident and they are providing consular assistance.
