Tipp gardaí make three arrests in connection with dissident republican activity
Three men are being held by gardai in Tipperary in relation to an investigation into dissident republican activity.
A number of explosive devices were seized by Gardai along with two cars yesterday evening.
The men in their 30s were arrrested on the N24 at Cahir in the sting, which was carried out by members of the Special Detective Unit as well as local gardai.
The men are being held at Clonmel and Cahir garda stations under Section 30 of the offences against the State act.
