Three people have escaped with their lives after a car flipped over onto its side in Dublin today.

Three people have escaped with their lives after a car flipped over onto its side in Dublin today.

Emergency services rushed to the Boot Road in Clondalkin at 10.50am this morning to find a car on its side on the path.

Dublin Fire Brigade said in a tweet: "Sunny dry bright day but still take care on the roads, we attended this RTC earlier Boot Rd D22, minor injuries."

The car was damaged all over with the roof caved in and the windscreen smashed in as a result.

Luckily, three people suffered only minor injuries.
