Three people, including a baby, have been injured in a two-car crash near Dundalk.
The accident occurred when two cars collided this morning on the Armagh Road near the Old Park Inn Hotel at around 11am.
The female driver of one car was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital with serious leg injuries. The infant, in the same car, received minor injuries, and was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The male driver of the second car, who is in his 20s, was also taken to Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda. There was no one else involved in the collision.
The road from the Old Park Inn Hotel to Carnmore is still closed.
Gardaí say motorists should avoid the area.
