Three men were today being questioned by gardai after €200,000 worth of herbal cannabis was found.

The discovery in a series of packages was made yesterday evening just off the Edmonstown Road in Rathfarnham, south Dublin, by officers targeting drug dealing in the area.

Gardaí then swooped on a house close by where they arrested two men in their 20s and one in his 30s.

A garda spokesman said: “All three are presently in custody in Rathfarnham and Tallaght garda stations under Section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act.

“The Divisional Drugs Unit and The Garda Dog Unit assisted in this search.”
