Three people arrested outside the European People's Party congress at the National Convention Centre in Dublin yesterday evening are due in court this morning.

A man aged 42, another man whose age is unknown and a 22-year-old woman are due in court.

They have been charged with public order offences.

The clashes last night between around 200 anti-austerity protesters and gardaí resulted in injury to one garda.

Freed Ukraine opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko and boxer-turned-politician Vitaly Klitschko were inside attending the EPP congress.
