Around €150,000 worth of heroin has been seized by Gardaí in Co. Cork.

Officers from the Cork City Division Drug Squad uncovered the heroin as part of an intelligence led operation.

A sawn off shotgun and a quantity of ammunition was also seized during the raid at Killeens, near Blarney.

Three men in their 20s and 30s have been arrested, they are being held under drug trafficking legislation at a number of Garda Stations in Cork.
