Gardaí have arrested three men in connection with the discovery of stolen property in a Lorry at Rosslare Port last night.

Gardaí have arrested three men in connection with the discovery of stolen property in a Lorry at Rosslare Port last night.

In a joint operation between Revenue and Gardaí a white Mercedes vehicle was stopped and searched as it was about to board a ferry for Cherbourg at about 9.30pm.

Gardaí discovered bicycles, power tools and garden machinery and beer kegs all of which are believed to have been stolen property.

Three men in their 20s and 30s and all Romanian nationals with addresses in Ireland, were arrested at the scene and are being detained at Wexford Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
