Three arrested after Carlow jewellery-shop robbery
Three men have been arrested after a robbery at a jewellery shop in Co Carlow this morning.
At around 10.30am, the men entered the shop on the Tullow Road and made threats against the owner.
They made their escape with goods and a sum of money, but were stopped a short distance away by gardaí on patrol.
The men, who are thought to be foreign nationals, were arrested and taken to Carlow garda station.
There are no reports of any injuries.
