Three men have been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a business in Bluebell in Dublin yesterday.

Three men have been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a business in Bluebell in Dublin yesterday.

Two men tried to get into the premises on Bluebell Avenue at around 7.40pm last night - one of them was armed with a gun.

They failed and returned to an awaiting car and attempted to leave the scene.

However, Gardaí were watching the activity and stopped the car.

They arrested three men, aged 18, 20 and 22 and recovered a gun.

The men are being held at Kilmainham, Sundrive and Kevin Street Garda Stations.
