Gardaí are seeking a third man in connection with the shooting dead of a man in Dublin on Wednesday night.
Thirty-five-year-old Alan O’Neill was killed at his home on Kiltalown Road in Tallaght.
On Wednesday night, gardaí got a call to say a man had been seriously injured in a shooting incident at Kiltalown Road. When they arrived at the house, they found a 35-year-old man with serious injuries.
He was transferred to Tallaght hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Two men aged 18 and 28 were arrested in nearby Belfry Square where a car was being burned out (a silver Mazda). A third man escaped.
A second car seen in the area - a Nissan Almera - is also relevant in the case.
Superintendent Peter Duff of Tallaght Garda Station said they were particularly interested in talking to anyone who saw these cars.
He said: "We're appealing for anyone who may have seen either car to come forward."
Today Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward as the manhunt continues.
