Teens and juveniles arrested after high-speed car chase
Three teenagers and two juveniles have been arrested following a high-speed car chase in Dublin and Kildare.
A silver Ford Mondeo was pursued by gardaí after it failed to stop close to Newcastle in Co Dublin just before 2pm this morning.
The Garda helicopter was scrambled to monitor the car as it was driven at high speed along the M4.
A "stinger" device brought the car to a stop.
The five occupants - three male teenagers and two juveniles - were arrested and brought to Leixlip Garda station.
Three of the youths were later charged and released on bail to appear before Kilcock District Court on May 21.
The two juveniles will be cautioned under the Juvenile Deferral System.
