A 19 year-old man has been killed in a fatal road traffic collision in Dublin.

A 19 year-old man has been killed in a fatal road traffic collision in Dublin.

The crash happened on the Ballybough Road near Summerhill at around 1.50pm this afternoon.

Gardai believe the teenager was on a motorbike at the time when it collided with a parked vehicle.

He was rushed to the Mater Hospital and he was pronounced dead.

The road is currently sealed off for technical examination, but is expected to reopen within the hour.
