Teen held after PSNI helicopter targeted with laser
23/10/2009 - 07:17:03Police in the North have arrested a 17-year-old youth for allegedly shining a laser at the pilot of a PSNI helicopter last night.
The teenager was detained in the Whiterock Road area of west Belfast.
He is suspected of shining a laser at a helicopter carrying out a routine flight.
The PSNI says such actions are highly irresponsible and dangerous and could cause a catastrophe.
