A total of 101 new jobs are being created by three Irish technology companies.

A total of 101 new jobs are being created by three Irish technology companies.

FINEOS, a global provider of claims management software for the insurance industry based in Dublin, will create 50 jobs in the coming months.

Opensky, a provider of business technology solutions, based in Naas, will create 30 jobs over the next 18 months.

Storm Technology, a business technology consultancy based in Dublin, will create 21 jobs by March 2015.

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise, and Innovation Richard Bruton welcomed the news.

"Opensky… [has] been very successful in the area of data analytics which is a really exciting and growth area," he said.

"Storm Technology specialises in Microsoft technologies and has rolled them out as a business consultancy

"FINEOS is a really big provider of claims management for the insurance industry. Again, it's a software company."

The majority of the new roles at Fineos are being created in its Research and Innovation centre in Dublin, with the remaining positions are open "to anyone who would like to join the FINEOS professional Services Team working on projects in Australia, United States and Canada".

The new positions include software engineers (Java), software testers, business analysts and technical implementation consultants. They will see FINEOS' workforce grow from 350 to 400.
