A transatlantic jet diverted to Dublin Airport this morning after suffering issues with its navigation system.
Delta Airlines flight DL-63 was en route from Boston in the US to Heathrow Airport in London when the crew reported the issue.
The crew opted to divert to Dublin where the Boeing 767-300 touched down safety in Dublin at 5.37am.
The passengers disembarked and were taken to the terminal while engineers investigated the problem.
The flight was able to continue its journey shortly after 11am.
Separately, also at Dublin Airport, an Etihad Airways flight was forced to abort its take-off after reporting a technical issue.
Etihad flight EY-42 from Dublin to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was cleared for take-off shortly after 9.30am but just seconds later the crew brought the Boeing 777-300 jet to a safe stop while accelerating for take-off.
The jet returned to the terminal building to have the "minor technical issue" investigated.
The flight was able to continue its journey at 12:50pm.
