Taoiseach makes new appeal to TD Wallace

The Taoiseach has made a new appeal to TD Mick Wallace to co-operate with the PAC's investigation into NAMA.

It comes as the Wexford TD makes new allegations surrounding the sale of NAMA's Northern Ireland loan book to Cerberus.

Deputy Wallace today told the Dáil that NAMA's advisors in the process, Lazard, were also offering advice to Cerberus.

NAMA claims Deputy Wallace wants to damage the state agency rather than to establish the truth about the Project Eagle sale.

But he says the sales process may have been 'stitched up' to make sure Cerberus would be the winning bidder.

"At this stage there is a strong belief that Cerberus were ear-marked to get this project hail, rain or snow.

"And the whole thing was stitched up so that they would get it. NAMA are involved in that and they cannot distance themselves."
