Two Cabinet ministers have denied claims that senior politicians are refusing to hold meetings with important industry leaders.
The Construction Industry Federation said that it is having trouble arranging meetings with ministers who can help it solve the housing crisis.
Tourism Minister Paschal Donohoe said that every minister will make time to hold meetings with as many people as possible.
Tánaiste Joan Burton said that her Labour colleague Alan Kelly is available to meet property developers to discuss their concerns.
"The Minister for the Environment Alan Kelly has been around and available," she said.
"Maybe they need to pick up the phone or drop a letter or just maybe make the arrangements because certainly he has been available and he and I have been in absolutely regular communication and contact and we've been around."
