Gardaí in Dublin will receive the results of a post mortem examination carried out on the body of Michael Devoy later this morning.

The 42-year-old from Balbutcher Drive, Poppintree in Ballymun suffered fatal gun shot wounds to the head on the Foxhill Road in Bohernabreena, Tallaght on Saturday night.

The Irish Daily Mirror's Crime Correspondent Cathal McMahon says Mr Devoy was wearing a bulletproof vest at the time of his death, and knew his life was in danger.
