Survey says 30% of school children are Catholic
A new survey shows around half of pupils in Educate Together schools are Catholic.
The ESRI will launch its research on the cultural diversity in the country's primary schools today.
It also shows that Catholics make up around 30% of pupils in schools from minority faiths.
It comes as the Department of Education begins surveying parents about who they would like to be the patrons of their local schools.
