SuperValu has issued a warning to customers about a scam trying to gain access to their personal information.

SuperValu has issued a warning to customers about a scam trying to gain access to their personal information.

A fake message claiming to be from the supermarket chain is doing the rounds on WhatsApp, offering vouchers by clicking on a link.

Users are then being asked to enter their personal details.

In post on its Facebook page, SuperValu says that it has not issued, endorsed or promoted the message - and customers are being advised to delete it.
