Storm Clodagh still disrupting flights as ESB continue to work on restoring power

Power has been restored to several thousand properties around the country this evening.

Storm Clodagh had knocked out supply over four-thousand customers in Kildare while earlier this morning over 6,500 premises were in the dark.

Less than 100 people are now with electricity and ESB says crews are continuing to work on restoring supply.

Meanwhile, anyone intending to travel by air in the coming hours is urged to check with your airline before departing for the airport.

Several flights into Dublin tonight have been delayed, while there's also been some disruption to services at Shannon Airport this evening.
