Rating agency Standard & Poor's has today raised Ireland's sovereign outlook from negative to stable.

Rating agency Standard & Poor's has today raised Ireland's sovereign outlook from negative to stable.

The agency currently rates Ireland BBB-plus.

It comes in the wake of a deal last week which saw the €31bn Anglo promissory note replaced by a long-term bond.
