Staff stage sit-in at Dublin printers put into receivership

A sit-in protest is taking place at Hudson Killeen printers in Blanchardstown, Dublin, after staff were made redundant there on Friday.

A receiver has been appointed to the company which employs over 50 people.

Around 15 workers are protesting at their treatment and are waiting for a SIPTU union representative to arrive.

Jimmy Low, one of the printers occupying the building, said: "They told us they're not in a position to pay any more money out, they are saying they're insolvent.

"The amount of service everybody's had in here, from 30 years to 25, we just want clarification."
