Southbound bore of Dublin Port Tunnel reopens after fire

The southbound bore of Dublin Port Tunnel has re-opened.

Both bores were closed following a fire this morning and Gardaí lifted the HGV ban in Dublin City Centre.

One man was taken to hospital as a precaution.

There has been no indication yet on when the northbound bore of the tunnel will be re-opening.

The closure has led to heavy traffic in Dublin City Centre.
