Solicitor's children fights BoI over repossession of home

The adult children of solicitor Brian O'Donnell are in the Supreme Court trying to stop Bank of Ireland from taking possession of their luxury home in Killiney in Dublin.

In the High Court, the bank won its claim that it is entitled to the €7m property on the Vico Road as part of its efforts to execute a €71m judgment against their parents.

Blake, Blaise, Bruce and Alexandra O’Donnell have claimed they are the beneficial owners of the property, Gorse Hill, which is owned by an Isle of Man company, which in turn is owned by a discretionary trust set up by the O’Donnell parents in favour of their children.
